The binding version is in German
Our full privacy statement exists in German only, and that version is the binding one. It is the text a Swiss court would read, and translating a legal text without a lawyer looking at it would create a second version that says something slightly different. You find it under Datenschutz.
What follows is a summary in English, for orientation. It does not replace the German text.

What we process, and on what basis
We process personal data in line with Swiss data protection law, in particular the Federal Act on Data Protection and its ordinance. Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable person. Processing covers every handling of such data, whatever the means.
We process data to run our business: to answer enquiries, to deliver and maintain the websites we build, to invoice our work, and to keep our own site running and secure.
Your rights
You may ask us what data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to a particular processing, and withdraw a consent you gave. You may also complain to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner. Write to the address above and we will answer.
Website, cookies and measurement
Our website sets cookies and writes server log files, and we measure reach with Plausible Analytics, which sets no cookies and stores its data in the EU. It creates no visitor profiles and does not identify individual visitors. The German text lists every service we use, together with its provider and the specifics.
The AI scan sends the website address you enter to the potential check of kihub.ch for analysis. It only reads publicly visible pages of that website and evaluates them with a language model. If you then request the detailed analysis, you send us your email address and the website address. We use both only for this analysis, not for advertising.
Changes
We can adapt and extend this statement at any time. The current version is always the one published on this website.
